The images in this series are excerpts from ongoing studies examining visual perception. The discernment of each image depends on the viewer’s relative distance, scale, vantage point, movement, and direct line of vision vs. peripheral vision. The purpose of these investigations is to gain insight into how we perceive, and also to explore the role of ambiguity in photography and art.
